The top 10 Pitchers of My Life is something that I wrote last year and never completed. It was something that was very interesting to write, and I wanted to bring that to all you Pine fans.
Keep in mind this is pitchers who had their best years anytime between 1982-2008, so a pitchers like Tom Seaver who did pitch in my life, will not count for the list.
Undoubtedly the most important position on any Baseball team is the pitcher and that is why I have chosen to debate the top 10 of my life.
Pitching is more than just numbers, although they play a very big role in this list. The most important thing to look at is a players dominance over certain a period of time. Mostly I looked for dominance in a 5-7 year period, along with consistent good pitching over their remaining years.
One last factor is big game ability. This means that if it is game 7 of the World Series and you need someone to take the hill and get you outs, can you count on this guy without one ounce of worry.
Also keep in mind this is not the same as the top 10's that Sami and I plan to write, starting with the top 10 NBA Centers of all time coming soon.
